Day 1: Depart Atlanta → Frankfurt

4:40pm EDT The Hodgson Singers depart Atlanta, Georgia for Frankfurt, Germany!

Day 2: Arrive in Frankfurt → Prague

7:55am CEST Arrive in Frankfurt, Germany
10:10am Depart Frankfurt for Prague, Czech Republic
11:10am Arrive in Prague and depart for a guided walking tour of the city. We’ll be sure to share some photos of our explorations!

Day 3: First Performance & Leisure in Prague

2:00pm The Hodgson Singers perform at Our Lady Before Týn Church
Evening Leisure time and dinner in the city!

Day 4: Depart from Prague → Salzburg

8:00am Next stop: Salzburg, Austria!
3:00pm Guided walking tour through Downtown Salzburg, plus a special visit to Mozart’s birthplace
Evening & Overnight Dinner and exploration of Salzburg at our leisure; resting in preparation for the following day’s performance

Day 5: Performance in Salzburg

Morning Lesiure and lunch in the city
4:00pm The Hodgson Singers perform at the Salzburg Cathedral of Saint Rupert and Saint Vergilius
Evening & Overnight Dinner and rest in preperation for travel to Melk & Baden the following morning

Day 6: Depart from Salzburg → Melk → Baden for the ICC|AV 2014 Competition

8:30am We depart Salzburg and travel to Baden, stopping in Melk en route
11:30am We enjoy a visit to Melk Abbey

2:30pm We arrive for check-in to the festival
4:00pm Parade of the Choirs (through Josefplatz – Frauengasse – Hauptplatz, welcome address by the mayor of Baden – Theresiengasse – Kurpark)
5:00pm Opening Ceremonies (at Kurpark)
8:00pm Opening Concert (Congress Casino Baden), featuring the all-German a capella group “Greg is back”
9:30pm Fireworks, followed by a reception at the Congress Casino Baden

Day 7: Baden & International Competition

Day 9: Depart from Baden → Vienna

8:00am After breakfast and check-out, we depart for the Austria’s capitol city, Vienna; we will stop at the Central Cemetary en route to visit the graves of famous composers such as Beethoven, Brahms, and Mozart
9:00am Upon arrival in Vienna, we will enjoy a guided city tour where we will see the Vienna State Opera House, Musikverein Symphony Hall, the Ringestrasse Hofburg Palace, and St. Stephen’s Cathetral
1:00pm Final performance in Schönbrunn Palace
2:00pm Lunch and guided visit of the Schönbrunn Palace
7:00pm Farewell Dinner together at the Gerstner Landhaus

Day 10: Vienna

8:00am Breakfast at the hotel
All-Day We have the full day at leisure for self-arranged activities and exploration of the city.
Evening We return to the hotel early and rest in preparation for our voyage home!

Day 11: Vienna

3:00am After breakfast, we arrive at the Vienna International Airport by motor coach
6:10am Depart Vienna for Frankfurt, Germany
7:40am Arrives in Frankfurt
10:45am Depart Frankfurt for Atlanta, Georgia USA
3:40pm The Hodgson Singers touch down in Atlanta, GA
